You don’t get to be the fastest-growing pizza franchise without striking a balance between serving customers the product they love and captivating new guests with something unfamiliar and exciting.

That’s the idea behind the latest addition to the Marco’s menu, the Grilled Chicken Florentine Pizza. Grilled chicken, Parmesan garlic sauce, four cheeses and fresh spinach with sliced red onions and fresh sliced tomatoes top our signature crust, which is crafted from dough made fresh in the stores every day.

Anyone who brought a can of spinach to their local Marco’s Pizza ® got to trade it in for a free medium Grilled Chicken Florentine Pizza, and all the canned goods were donated to local food pantries for needy families.

The menu updates and customer-friendly promos are the kinds of innovations that make us the fastest-growing pizza franchise in the country. Marco’s grew by 33% last year, adding 109 stores in 2013, and we plan to have 500 units by mid-2014. We have another 1,000 stores in development.

We consistently have a large customer base among all our franchises because we make sure that every pizza we make is up to our high standards. Marco’s has training components in place to make sure everyone in every store knows how to make — and spot — the perfect pizza pie. We call it a “WOW!” pizza, because when customers open the box, they’ll say “WOW!”

Marco’s is the only national pizza franchise founded by a native Italian. Our crust is made only from Minnesota-grown spring wheat flour because of its high protein content. We long ago perfected our sauce, made from an old Italian family recipe with hybrid tomato developed especially for Marco’s.
